7 Unbelievable Misconceptions Non-F1 people have

Non-F1 people are the type of people that have irritating misconceptions about Formula 1. Non-F1 people also are the type of people to listen to songs as music but songs are not music, real music is the sound of a 2003 Ferrari V10 F1 car, just take a listen

What kind of thing do you have to be to say this is not music?
  1. F1 drivers are not elite athletes! You should know that F1 drivers are absolutely incredible people that work out so hard that regular people almost die after a small portion of the exercises that F1 drivers go through. F1 drivers also are very skilled to drive an F1 car at incredible speeds. They go through intense training to be able to drive the car for many laps without having to rest because of pain. F1 drivers are real athletes and saying that they’re normal people is just wrong!
  2. Give me an F1 car and I’ll win! Now that’s a bold statement and I have all the reasons to also say that’s an unbelievable statement. Now just like I said in the 1st misconception, F1 drivers are elite athletes and most normal people can’t just go and drive an F1 car and win a Grand Prix because you will probably miss the braking point and slide into the barriers and faint because of the insane forces.
Imagine if this happens to you. F1 is much safer than what it was in the 1950s but still you can be in a 70G barrel roll which is absolutely insane

3. F1 cars drive around in circles!

Currently, there are more than 20 tracks on the F1 calendar and sure some circuits are a little boring but most of them are the polar opposite of a circle. Saying that F1 tracks are circles is just ridiculous. Most of the people that say this misconception have never watched a race such as the 2021 Imola Grand Prix which was absolutely filled with action and it was a non-Mercedes win unlike the last 7 years of absolute Mercedes domination.

4. F1 cars are too slow!

Now people started saying this because most of the people that say this watch F1 races on their TV. So what’s wrong with that? Well, F1 is broadcasted on TV from cameras that pan around which causes F1 cars to look like they’re going slow but when you see them from a camera that is not moving, you really can understand how fast there’re going.

After seeing this entire video, you will never say that F1 cars are slow

5. F1 cars just do many laps around a circuit!

F1 cars don’t just go around circuits with no overtaking. Most F1 races have many wheel-to-wheel battles for positions and there are bland DRS overtakes and unbelievable pure-skill overtakes as well. Sure some races are boring but most races are filled with action as well. Also, In F1 you get to see some genius team strategies which sometimes fail and sometimes succeed.

6. F1 cars are too quiet and sound too bad!

That is a HUGE understatement, You probably say that because you watch F1 on your TV with the volume at 15 which makes you think that F1 cars are quiet but in reality, an F1 car is 50 times louder than 500 trumpets playing while a rocket is taking off and I’m not kidding. Testing people always wear ear-protection because if they don’t, they will get hearing loss from the immense number of decibels that F1 cars produce.

7. F1 drivers get paid too much!

No, they don’t. The salary of F1 drivers can get as much as Rs.2,994,750,720 and that is absolutely correct because they risk their lives every weekend for a race and if even after this you think that F1 drivers get paid too much then take into consideration that footballers get more than that for simply kicking a ball and doing some stupid celebration dance.

That’s it and now most of the non-f1 people out there can’t complain about any of the 7 misconceptions here.

Bye!
