Rome was not Built in a Day

It took years together to build the beautiful country, Rome. It was not built in a day. In the same way, a person has to work hard for years together to accomplish his goal. He cannot expect the results within a day. The man must wait for the results, patiently, after working hard to achieve his goal, with full determination.
As a diamond gets polished with the flame of the fire, the same way, a man achieves greatness after overcoming all the vicissitudes and obstacles of life, with sheer determination. A man can construct magnificent palaces and buildings with patience. Taj Mahal, one of the greatest wonders of the world was not built in a day. It was built by the workers of emperor Shahjahan in the memory of his wife Mumtaj Mahal. It took years together to build the Taj Mahal although numerous workers were appointed to build it in the last period. The person must not be impatient to get the results of his efforts immediately. If he is impatient then his all efforts would go fruitless. He would achieve nothing despite working hard day and night. Impatience makes the person inefficient in his skill. For example, take a person, who wants to attain the first position in a race competition. He begins to work hard day and night to attain the first position, but he does not have the patience to wait for the right time. Finally, the day of the competition arrives and he begins to run fast to get ahead of others immediately. But soon he gets tired and is left behind in the race, due to his impatient attitude. The person who is patiently running behind begins to lead soon and grasps the first position. The impatient runner gets tired soon and is left behind in the race, while the patient runner, possesses enough energy to gain speed, while nearing the goal and thus, he attains the first position in the race. Therefore, one must do efforts in the right direction and wait patiently for the right time to achieve his goal, only then can a man emerge as a winner in his life, as patience is the greatest ladder to success.
