How to Solve the Problem of Beggary

The sight of the beggars is very pathetic. Most of them are seen begging near public places, like temples, parks, museums and monuments. They run after the people and compel them to give money. They become lazy and get accustomed to getting money, without having to work for it.
They not only trouble people with their uncivilised habits but also make the city dirty, by throwing trash on the roads.
They do not want to work. Some of the beggars earn more than a thousand per month through begging. Many of them have become rich without doing any kind of work.
For them, begging is an earning source. They consider that it is their birthright to beg but their thinking is wrong.
God has given them two hands and legs to work, not to sit idle and waste their time. They ought to labour hard to make a living like all the other labourers, who toil day and night to fulfil their necessities of life.

The Govt. should take the following steps to eliminate beggary:
(a) They should impart education to the beggars and their children, so that, they do not remain ignorant anymore. Once, their ignorance is eliminated, they would realise the value of labour and thus, they would begin to work to make a good living.

(b) The people should be told not to give money to the healthy beggars, who can work.

(c) The beggars should be provided with a few wooden huts, so that, they do not make the public places dirty. Last but not the least, they should be given separate lessons on cleanliness and hygiene, so that, the city should remain neat.
