Kerala – Learn From It

I, being a person who is was born in Kerala, went to Kerala from Mumbai. I was kind of ready for a surprise but I definitely wasn’t ready for such a surprise!

Kerala is known for its lush forests and beautiful scenery but there is much more than that, there are the insects (some are annoying), animals, snakes, and people supporting communism (communism is still a thing here). The streets of Mumbai are littered with trash and people do not care about the cleanliness of their own city, in Kerala, people give complete and utter respect to the cleanliness of their state. Police heavily fine the people that litter on the streets.

People here mostly live a simple life with not a lot after their work, most people here have a standalone house with some land. Many people here have 2 floors in their houses while some give a floor for rent, earning a good penny from that. I’d say people like farming, like there’s a farm literally in front of my house. Kerala is battling with COVID right now, but I would say that people take it very seriously with the poorest of the poor wearing double mask.
