Why OLX is NOT The Best Place for Cars

This isn’t really what I like writing about most but I’m just writing this to see if people like this.

So why isn’t OLX good for cars, I have just one word, Stupid people with a phone

I’ll shorten that to SPWPs and SPWPs take one photo of their car and upload it but what’s wrong with that? Well, a person should never buy a car from people who don’t know a thing about cars and that’s because most people in India don’t know a thing about cars and rarely they take care of their car by performing coolant changes, oil changes, power steering fluid flush, and general inspections for leaks, etc. I can confirm this because 99% of the taxis I have been in have a… oil, check engine, and usually a battery alert as well and when I saw all these lights in taxis, I usually didn’t tell the driver (In India the drivers own the Uber taxi) about the incredible severity of that check engine light. People sell such mistreated cars for a lot of money and people literally buy junk. I feel that cars have a voice and that is true, the sound coming from the engine is the voice of the engine and most of the cars sold on OLX (mistreated taxis) cry for oil and coolant but the owner, who doesn’t read the owners manual, don’t even care about the engine crying for oil and coolant. Just to get some info for this post, I opened up olx.com and looked for some cars. I saw nearly 100 cars just at first glance, I looked at 45 and the surprise was… all of the 45 cars didn’t have a picture of the dashboard lights while the cars were on. Now, I will not say that all cars on olx.com are bad because there are many cars are sold by professional mechanics and those people definitely know more than what I do, they will send all the proper details of the car including the warning lights that have appeared. I am not going to list any people that sell cars with photos that don’t even let you understand what the model is but I can assure you that you’ll find plenty on OLX. I won’t give these owners any excuse because not reading the users manual is unacceptable, it is dangerous to drive cars with an SRS Airbag light on. The failure to understand the meaning of a warning light can even seriously injure or kill a person.
