Have you ever saw any monkey climbing? I have seen it many times. It is really easy and not a big deal for a monkey to climb because even their legs are like their hands. They get a good grip to hold on to. But human’s feet are evolved so that they can walk. So, it’s really hard to climb. But still, there is a man who can beat monkeys. He is called Monkey King.
Jyoti Raj is a Professional Climber who is also known as the Monkey King. He is from Chitradurga, Karnataka. Jyoti Raj climbs high rocks, mountains and straight walls like a monkey. Hanging upside down on different surfaces with the support of his legs. Moreover, Mr Jyoti can also rotate his body 360 degrees. And his best move is making a 90-degree angle by hanging upside down. Professional Climber uses safety equipment like Helmet, rope, hook and harnesses. But these all things are useless for Mr Jyoti. He trusts the strong grip of his hands. And the most amazing and thing that fascinates me is that Jyoti Raj performs all his stunts without any safety gears. After witnessing his daring stunts people are left spellbound and they keep whistling for him.
Mr Jyoti realised his talent when there was no hope left for him. He saw a big rock. He thought to commit suicide by jumping from it. He moved around the rock to find the way to go to the top. But there was none. It was just straight rock. Then, he saw a monkey climbing it. He took some mud, rubbed it into his hands and he tried to climb like the monkey. He reached the top. His hands were painting. When he turned around to jump off people were bubbling with excitement. They were clapping, whistling and thoroughly encouraging him. Since the people saw him climbing like a monkey they started shouting “Monkey Man!”
But readers, please don’t try to climb on walls, buildings or anywhere because even Jyoti had got hurt many times. He broke his bonds around nine times. He has four rods in his body. But even though this happened he never let his spirit break.
I am a big fan of Mr Jyoti, what a daredevil guy he is. Mr Jyoti also wishes to climb tall buildings. And his lifetime dream is to climb a building that is 2722 feet tall. Yes, one and only Burj Khalifa. Mr Jyoti your dream will come true. Jyoti Raj says that humans evolved from apes but his evolution went the other way around. He says that he’s becoming an ape.
