In my house, there’s a 20 watt CFL Tubelight which is outdated but it works so we use it. Now the reason for this review is to tell you how good a branded product is compared to an unbranded product.
I am not getting paid to write this. The CFL Tubelight is a Halonix 20 watt CFL and it has been running for a long time and the color temperature is pretty much what was advertised on the packaging and the bulb looks cool and doesn’t have any flat square-like shapes. Overall this tubelight has been really good and I would rate it 9/10. I removed one point because of the insane start up time compared to other CFLs
On the other hand, there is a CFL Tubelight which was unbranded and it had horrible color temperature which was much much cooler that what it was supposed to have. It also had some dark spots inside the tube. The start up time was not as good as led bulb and even worse than the Halonix bulb. The tubelight made a distinct pop and went out after about 3 months of working. We replaced that with a Philips 9 watt LED bulb which has served us since that CFL went out
