Sachin Tendulkar is a precious gem of Indian cricket around whom the entire cricket revolves. He had brought innumerable laurels for India and made India proud. His talent had been appreciated by the best cricketers of the world till yet.

This superstar of Indian cricket, Sachin Tendulkar, was born on April 24, 1973 in Mumbai. In his childhood, Sachin Tendulkar would watch Kapil Dev playing cricket and winning laurels for India. Sachin Tendulkar began to dream of becoming a cricketer as great as Kapil Dev. One day, his dreams began to take the practical shape, when he started playing cricket. At the mere age of 15, he hit a triple century for his school team. He became the youngest Indian champion of Indian cricket, when he had yet not reached the age of 17.

In the year 1988, this bright cricketer broke the 74 year old world record of establishing of third wicket partnership of 644 runs in the Mari’s Shield Semifinals. He showed a wonderful performance in the finals by scoring another triple century in the world class cricket. He got three ‘Man of the Match’ awards for scoring nearly 500 runs in the World Cup 2003 held in South Africa. There is no doubt about Sachin Tendulkar’s calibre in the cricket field. The greatest cricketers of the world like Brian Lara have been defeated by him in cricket. He is the top-scorer in test-cricket as well as in One Day Cricket. His test-runs are 12027 and one day runs are above sixteen thousand. Everyday Sachin is making new records, He has completed 50 Test Centuries and 47 ODI Centuries.

Today, Sachin is happily married to a doctor and is enjoying a blissful married life. He is the brightest star of Indian cricket and the pride of India.
