Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam was of the most brilliant Presidents of India. He became the 11th President of India on July 15, 2002 election. He was also called as the “The Missile Man” because of the extraordinary ability, he showed in inventing the ‘Missile Technology’ of India.
The Full name of DR. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam was Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam. His father’s name was Jainulabdeen Kalam and his mother’s name was Ashiamma Kalam. He had 5 siblings Kasim, Mustafa, Mohammed, Muthu and Zoya. He was the smallest among all. He was born in Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu at 15th October, 1931 and died in 27 July 2015, Shillong. He was awardedBharat Ratna, IEEE Honorary Membership, Veer Savarkar Award, International von Kármán Wings Award, Indira Gandhi Award for National Integration, Hoover Medal and King Charles II Medal. His Dream was to become a pilot and he tried his best. But he was not qualified but still he never give up. He tried his best to become a successful man and he did it. He was an inspiration but he is no long with us but he is there with us. Thank You
