Today in the second part of this series I will talk about why foreign cars are way too overpriced in India. In India, many cars are quite expensive and they are almost always overpriced. Now a Lamborghini Urus is an expensive car and this is because it offers as much performance as it’s cost and in America, the Lamborghini Urus AWD costs $211,321, that’s about ₹1,56,94,810 and that is completely fine considering that you are getting a Lamborghini Urus with a 4.0 litre Twin – Turbo V8 and an 8-speed automatic and All-Wheel-Drive, on the other hand, the Lamborghini Urus base model costs 3.1 Crore and that’s about $417,216 which is unacceptable because $417,216 just way too much for a Base model Urus. Now let me tell you one more reason why India is the worst place to drive a car. Imagine you want to buy the Ford Mustang GT500, if you were a normal person then you would go to the nearest Ford dealership and buy one and if you are like me and know that dealerships are scams, you would try to buy a Mustang GT500 or GT350 from a used car website ( like olx.com) but to your surprise, the GT500 or the GT350 are not offered at all in India! This is a big problem, many normal cars like the Toyota Sienna, Honda Odyssey, Chrysler Pacifica are not offered in India also the Kia Carnival which is a normal car but it is considered a costly luxury car in India.
